And the stability of thy times, the strength of salvation, was wisdom and knowledge: the fear of Jehovah this his treasure.

To the rich now in this life, proclaim not to be highminded, nor to be hoping upon the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, offering us all things richly for profit;

Treasuring up to themselves a good foundation for the future, that they may lay hold upon eternal life.

For ye also suffered together with me in bonds, and received the pillage of your possessions with joy, knowing to have in yourselves a better and abiding substance in the heavens.

Having deemed the reproach of Christ greater riches than treasures in Egypt: for he looked to the payment of reward.

Hear, my dearly beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the beggars of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to them loving him?

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and unfading, kept in the heavens for us,

And the chief Shepherd having been manifested, ye shall be attired with an unfading crown of glory.

I know thy works, and pressure, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and the blasphemy of them saying themselves to be Jews, and are not, but the synagogue of the adversary.
