And the Pharisees took counsel against him, having gone out, that they might kill him.

And they going, behold certain of the watch having come to the city, announced to the chief priests all having been done.

Saying, Say ye, That his disciples having come by night, stole him, we being asleep.

Then gathered together the chief priests and Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many signs.

And by him they were persuaded: and having called the sent, having stripped, they enjoined not to speak in the name of Jesus, and loosed them.
