And he will take to him a pot sherd to scrape himself with it, and he will sit in the midst of the ashes.

The roaring of the lion, and the voice of the lion, and the teeth of the young lions were broken.

For I ate ashes as bread, and I mingled my drink with weeping.

Or what man is of you, which, if his son ask bread, he will not give him a stone?

And shall a son ask bread of any of you a father, will he give him a stone ? and if a fish, for a fish he will not give him a serpent.
