To Issachar came forth the fourth lot, to the sons of Issachar according to their families.

The sons of Leah, the first-born of Jacob, Reuben; and Simeon and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Zebulon;

Issachar, an ass; a heap of bone lying down in the midst of the tribes.

Jehoshaphat son of Paruah in Issachar:

And upon the bound of Simeon from the side east even to the side of the sea, Issachar, one.

But by lot shall the land be divided; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers, they shall inherit

This the inheritance of the sons of Zebulon according to their families, these cities and their enclosures.

And their bound will be Jezreel and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

Of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand sealed.
