They knew not that he spake to them of the Father.
And he will say, Go, and say to this people, Hearing, hear ye, and ye shall not understand; and seeing, see ye, and ye shall not know.
He being of God hears the words of God: therefore ye hear not, for ye are not of God.
Wherefore ye know not my speech, for ye cannot hear my word.
We shall feel for the wall as the blind, and we shall feel, as no eyes: we stumbled at noon as at evening twilight; in fertile fields as the dead.
Many things have I to speak and judge of you; but he having sent me is true; and what things I have heard from him these say I to the world.
Then said Jesus to them, When ye lift up the Son of man then shall ye know that I am, and I do nothing of myself; but as my Father taught me, these I speak.
