Then said Thomas, called Didymus, to his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we might die with him.
There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and nathanael from Cana of Galilee, and they of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
Peter says to him, Lord, why can I not follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thee.
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the tax collector; James, he of Alpheus, and Lebbeus, he surnamed Thaddeus;
Matthew and Thomas, James, him of Alpheus, and Simon called Zelotes,
And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James him of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
Peter says to him, Though it should be necessary for me to die with thee, I will not deny thee: likewise also said all the disciples.
And when they came in, they went up into an upper room, where were remaining also Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James of Alpheus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas of James.
Thomas says to him, Lord, we know not where thou retirest; and how can we know the way?
The disciples say to him, Rabbi, now the Jews sought to stone thee; and retirest thou there again?
And he said to him, Lord, with thee am I ready to go, and to prison, and to death.
And I rejoice for you, that ye might believe, that I was not there; but let us go to him.
