How long will ye set an end to words? Ye shall understand, and afterwards we will speak.
Wherefore, my dearly beloved brethren, let every man be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger:
He turning back the word before he shall hear it, is folly and shame to him.
And yet hear now, O Job, my speech, and give ear to all my words.
Hearing, hear ye my speech, and this shall be your consolations.
Shall not the multitude of words be answered? and shall a man of lips be justified?
How long wilt thou speak these things? and the great spirit of the words of thy mouth?
There the unjust ceased to be angry, and the weary in strength shall rest.
And Bildad the Shuhite will answer and say,
Wherefore were we reckoned as cattle, and were unclean in your eyes?
