For you should say, If the Lord will, and we live, and should do this, or that.
Many purposes in a man's heart: and the counsel of Jehovah, that shall stand.
Who this saying, And it shall be Jehovah commanding not?

If in any way I shall be prospered on my way in the will of God to come to you.
That in joy I might come to you by the will of God, and rest with you.
For I will not see you now in coming forward; but I hope to remain some time with you, if the Lord permit.
And I will come to you swiftly, if the Lord will, and I shall know not the word of those puffed up, but the power.
And this will we do, if God even permit.
And now ye boast in your arrogance: all such boasting is evil.
