I the preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.

Truly, truly, I say to thee, that what we know, we speak, and what we have seen we testify; and ye receive not our testimony.

By the hope laid up for you in the heavens, which ye heard before in the word of the truth of the good news;

Faithful the word, and worthy of all acceptance, for Christ Jesus came into the world to save the sinful; of whom I am first.
