If the spirit of him ruling shall go up against thee, thou shalt not leave thy place; for quietness will put down great sins.

A man of wrath will excite strife: and he slow to anger will appease contention.

In slowness to anger shall the prince be persuaded, and the soft tongue shall break the bones.

There is an evil I saw under the sun as an error going forth from before him having power:

Thou shalt not hasten going from his face: thou shalt not stand by the word of evil; for he shall do all that he will desire.
