And I will take the heads of your tribes, men wise and known, and I will give them heads over you, captains of thousands, and captains and hundreds, and captains of fifties, and captains of tens, and scribes for your tribes.

And thou shalt look out from all the people men of ability, fearing God, men of truth, men hating gain; and set thou over them chiefs of thousands, chiefs of hundreds, chiefs of fifties, and chiefs of ten.

And he said to Moses, Come up to Jehovah, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy from the old men of Israel; and worship from far off.

And with you they shall be a man, a man according to the tribe; a man he the head according to the house of their fathers.

And Saul will say to his servants standing by him, Hear now, ye sons of my right hand; also to you all will the son of Jesse give fields and vineyards, to you all will he set chiefs of thousands and chiefs of hundreds;

And to set to himself captains of thousands and captains of fifties; and to plough his ploughing and to reap his harvest, and to do all his fighting and all his chariots.
