And who attempted to profane the temple: whom we also seized, and wished to judge according to our law.

And Lysias the captain of a thousand, having come with much force, carried away out of our hands,

Therefore the morrow, Agrippa having come, and Bernice, with much display, and having come into the hall, also with captains of thousands, and men of the city being in eminence, and Festus having commanded, Paul was brought.

For these things, me the Jews, having seized in the temple, attempted to kill with their own hands.
