And this is love, that we walk about according to his commands. This is the command, That as ye heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commands: and his commands are not heavy.

What therefore ye have heard from the beginning, let remain in you. If it remain in you what ye heard from the beginning, ye also shall remain in the Son, and in the Father.

Whoever should keep his word, truly in him has the word of God been completed: in this we know that we are in him.

If ye keep my commands, ye shall remain in my love; as I have kept my Father's commands, and remain in his love.

If ye love me, keep my commands.

Ye are my friends, if ye do whatever I command you.

He having my commands, and keeping them, the same is he loving me: and he loving me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and manifest myself to him.

And if we know that he hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

And now I entreat thee, mistress, not as writing a new command, but what we had from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Ye shall go after Jehovah your God, and ye shall fear him, and his commands shall ye watch, and to his voice shall ye hear, and ye shall serve him, and to him shall ye cleave.

Jesus answered and said to him, If any one love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and we will make our stay with him.

Brethren, I write no new command to you, but an old command which ye had from the beginning. The old command is the word which ye heard from the beginning.
