For I will not see you now in coming forward; but I hope to remain some time with you, if the Lord permit.
Many purposes in a man's heart: and the counsel of Jehovah, that shall stand.
I knew, O Jehovah, that not to man his way; not to man to go and set right his step.
And Jesus having answered said to him, Permit now; for so it is suitable for us to complete all justice: then he permitted him.
But he took leave of them, saying, I must at any rate do the coming festival in Jerusalem: and I will again return to you, God willing. And he was conveyed from Ephesus.
If in any way I shall be prospered on my way in the will of God to come to you.
And I will come to you swiftly, if the Lord will, and I shall know not the word of those puffed up, but the power.
And in this confidence I wished to come to you before, that ye might have a second grace;
For you should say, If the Lord will, and we live, and should do this, or that.
