Well, for the office of a bishop a man must be above reproach; he must be only married once, he must be temperate, master of himself, unruffled, hospitable, a skilled teacher,

set them an example of good conduct; be sincere and serious in your teaching,

Everyone who believes Jesus is the Christ, is born of God; and everyone who loves the Father, loves the sons born of him.

but when he argued about morality, self-mastery, and the future judgment, Felix grew uneasy. "You may go for the present," he said; "when I can find a moment, I will send for you"
