For God loved the world so dearly that he gave up his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life, instead of perishing.

We know also that those who love God, those who have been called in terms of his purpose, have his aid and interest in everything.

Love lies in this, not in our love for him but in his love for us — in the sending of his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

For our sakes He made him to be sin who himself knew nothing of sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Now we have received the Spirit — not the spirit of the world but the Spirit that comes from God, that we may understand what God bestows upon us.

Sin's wage is death, but God's gift is life eternal in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised that we might be justified.

And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, the Beloved, in him is my delight."

The conqueror shall obtain this, and I will be his God, and he shall be my son;

It is all in your interests, so that the more grace abounds, the more thanksgiving may rise and redound to the glory of God.

For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

Well, if for all your evil you know to give your children what is good, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him?

grieved but always glad, a 'pauper', but the means of wealth to many, without a penny but possessed of all.
