Each of us then will have to answer for himself to God.

but they will have to answer for that to Him who is prepared to judge the living and the dead

I tell you, men will have to account on the day of judgment for every light word they utter;

For the Son of man is coming in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will reward everyone for what he has done.

For everyone will have to bear his own load of responsibility.

So he summoned him and said, 'What is this I hear about you? Hand in your accounts; you cannot be factor any longer.'

for we have all to appear without disguise before the tribunal of Christ, each to be requited for what he has done with his body, well or ill.
