he left Nazaret and settled at Capharnahum beside the lake, in the territory of Zebulun and Naphtali

and then all the inhabitants of the surrounding country of the Gergesenes asked him to leave them, they were so seized with terror. He embarked in the boat and went back.

Now when Jesus had crossed in the boat to the other side again, a large crowd gathered round him; so he remained beside the sea.

When Jesus saw crowds round him he gave orders for crossing to the other side.

Do not give dogs what is sacred and do not throw pearls before swine, in case they trample them under foot and turn to gore you.

Let the wicked still be wicked, let the filthy still be filthy, let the righteous still do right, let the holy still be holy!

Then he embarked in the boat, followed by his disciples.

On his return Jesus was welcomed by the crowd; they were all looking out for him.
