As he was walking along the sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew, casting a net in the sea — for they were fishermen;
These are the names of the twelve apostles: first Simon (who is called Peter) and Andrew his brother, James the son of Zebedaeus and John his brother,
Simon (to whom he gave the name of Peter), Andrew his brother, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew,
Now I tell you, Peter is your name and on this rock I will build my church; the powers of Hades shall not succeed against it.
Then Jesus removed from that country and went along the sea of Galilee; he went up the hillside and sat there.
After this Jesus went off to the opposite side of the sea of Galilee (the lake of Tiberias),
After that, Jesus disclosed himself once more to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. It was in this way.
One of his disciples, Andrew the brother of Simon Peter, said to him,
He left the territory of Tyre again and passed through Sidon to the sea of Galilee, crossing the territory of Decapolis.
so he said to them, "Come, follow me, and I will make you fish for men."
