So repent of this wickedness of yours, and ask God whether you cannot be forgiven for your heart's purpose.

but as Jesus knew of it he retired from the spot. Many followed him, and he healed them all,

They argued among themselves, "But we have not brought any bread!"

"What does the man mean by talking like this? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins, who but God alone?"

Which is the easier thing, to tell the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to tell him, 'Rise, lift your pallet, and go away'?
