So the high priest rose in their midst and asked Jesus, "Have you no reply to make? What about this evidence against you?"

But even so the evidence did not agree.

He said nothing and made no answer. Again the high priest put a question to him. "Are you the Christ?" he said, "the Son of the Blessed?"
