"Tell us if you are the Christ." He said to them, "You will not believe me if I tell you,

He said to him, 'If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced, not even if one rose from the dead."

and you will not answer me when I put a question to you.

Then the high priest questioned Jesus about his disciples and about his teaching.

Why ask me? Ask my hearers what I have said to them; they know what I said."
