But he disowned him, saying, "Woman, I know nothing about him."

if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, he forgives our sins and cleanses us from all iniquity;

Repent then, and turn to have your sins blotted out, so that a breathing-space may be vouchsafed you,

Again Peter denied it. And at that very moment the cock crowed.

They asked him, "Are you not one of his disciples?" He denied it, saying, "No,"

and he who disowns me before men will be disowned before the angels of God.

But he denied it before them all; "I do not know what you mean," he said.

and whoever will disown me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.

A maidservant who noticed him sitting by the fire took a long look at him and said, "That fellow was with him too."

Shortly afterwards another man noticed him and said, "Why, you are one of them!" "Man," said Peter, "I am not."
