for Moses has had his preachers from the earliest ages in every town, where he is read aloud in the synagogues every sabbath."

Then he began with Moses and all the prophets and interpreted to them the passages referring to himself throughout the scriptures.

The Law and the prophets lasted till John; since then the good news of the Realm of God is preached, and anyone presses in.

and was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah; on opening the book he came upon the place where it was written,
