So do not seek food and drink and be worried;
Do not be troubled, then, and cry, 'What are we to eat?' or 'what are we to drink?' or 'how are we to be clothed?'
And he said to them, "When I sent you out with neither purse nor wallet nor sandals, did you want for anything?" "No," they said, "for nothing."
To his disciples he said, "Therefore I tell you, do not trouble about what you are to eat in life, nor about what you are to put on your body;
pagans make food and drink their aim in life, but your Father knows quite well you need that;
and if you cannot manage even this, why trouble over other things?
