Foolish men! did not He who made the outside make the inside of things too?

But God said to him, 'Foolish man, this very night your soul is wanted; and who will get all you have prepared?'

Foolish man! What you sow never comes to life unless it dies.

Blind Pharisee! first clean the inside of the cup, so that the outside may be clean as well.

Why, we had fathers of our flesh to discipline us, and we yielded to them! Shall we not far more submit to the Father of our spirits, and so live?

He said to them, "O foolish men, with hearts so slow to believe, after all the prophets have declared!

You are senseless and blind! for which is the greater, the gold or the sanctuary that makes the gold sacred?
