but now I am going to him who sent me. And yet not one of you asks, 'Where are you going?'

My dear children, I am only to be with you a little longer; then you will look for me, and, as I told the Jews I tell you now, where I go you cannot come.

But now I come to thee (I speak thus in the world that they may have my joy complete within them).

I am to be in the world no longer, but they are to be in the world; I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them by the power of thy Name which thou hast given me, that they may be one as we are one.

From the Father I came and I entered the world; again, I leave the world and I go to the Father."

A little while longer and the world will see me no more; but you will see me, because I am living and you will be living too.

the Father had put everything into his hands — knowing that he had come from God and was going to God,

You heard me tell you I was going away and coming back to you; if you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father — for the Father is greater than I am.

Jesus said, "Cease clinging to me. I have not ascended yet to the Father, but go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and yours, to my God and yours.'"
