Jesus answered, "This voice did not come for my sake but for yours.
(I knew thou wouldst always listen to me, but I spoke on account of the crowd around, that they might believe thou hast sent me.)"
(You know how gracious our Lord Jesus Christ was; rich though he was, he became poor for the sake of you, that by his poverty you might be rich.)
and for your sakes I am glad I was not there, that you may believe. Come now, let us go to him."
(though I accept no testimony from man — I only speak of this testimony, that you may be saved);
Now is this world to be judged; now the Prince of this world will be expelled.
