But even my companion Titus, Greek though he was, was not obliged to be circumcised.

Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul Hermes, since he was the chief spokesman.

This they carried out, sending their contribution to the presbyters by Barnabas and Saul.

So Barnabas went off to Tarsus to look for Saul,

my spirit could not rest, because I did not find Titus my brother there; so I said goodbye and went off to Macedonia.

and when they recognized the grace I had been given, then the so-called 'pillars' of the church, James and Cephas and John, gave myself and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship. Our sphere was to be the Gentiles, theirs the circumcised.
