Hold your ground, tighten the belt of truth about your loins, wear integrity as your coat of mail,
but we must be sober, we who belong to the day, clad in faith and love as our coat of mail, with the hope of salvation as our helmet —
Keep your loins girt and your lamps lit,
Brace up your minds, then, keep cool, and put your hope for good and all in the grace that is coming to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
