Epaphras, who is one of yourselves, salutes you — a servant of Christ Jesus who is always earnest in prayer for you, that you may stand firm like mature and convinced Christians, whatever be the will of God for you.

Epaphras my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus salutes you.

He had to resemble his brothers in every respect, in order to prove a merciful and faithful high priest in things divine, to expiate the sins of the People.

Tychicus, that beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow-servant in the Lord, will give you all information about me.

he is faithful to Him who appointed him. For while Moses also was faithful in every department of God's house,

and transmit the instructions I gave you in presence of many witnesses to trustworthy men, that they may be competent to teach others.

Now in this matter of stewards your first requirement is that they must be trustworthy.

Lay this before the brotherhood, and you will be an excellent minister of Christ Jesus, brought up on the truths of the faith and on the lessons of the good doctrine you have already followed.

Be subject to one another out of reverence for Christ.

I have no orders from the Lord for unmarried women, but I will give you the opinion of one whom you can trust, after all the Lord's mercy to him.

To ensure this, I am sending you Timotheus, my beloved and trustworthy son in the Lord; he will remind you of those methods in Christ Jesus which I teach everywhere in every church.

His master said to him, 'Capital, you excellent and trusty servant! You have been trusty in charge of a small sum: I will put you in charge of a large sum. Come and share your master's feast.'

Now where is the trusty and thoughtful servant, whom his lord and master has set over his household to assign them their supplies at the proper time?

So his fellow-servant fell down and implored him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will pay you.'
