You will receive power when the holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses at Jerusalem, throughout all Judaea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

the apostles gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power, and great grace was upon them all.

Now Stephen, who was full of grace and power, performed great wonders and miracles among the people.

But, I ask, "Have they never heard?" Indeed they have. Their voice carried over all the earth, and their words to the end of the world.

This gospel of the Reign shall be preached all over the wide world as a testimony to all the Gentiles, and then the end will come.

This Jesus God raised, as we can all bear witness.

For you are to be a witness for him before all men, a witness of what you have seen and heard.

For many days he was seen by those who had come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem; they are now his witnesses to the People.

The angel answered her, "The holy Spirit will come upon you, the power of the Most High will overshadow you; hence what is born will be called holy, Son of God.

and you killed the pioneer of Life. But God raised him from the dead, as we can bear witness.

but they pressed him, saying, "Stay with us, for it is getting towards evening and the day has now declined." So he went in to stay with them.
