So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men and in particular to the household of the faith.

for certain persons have slipped in by stealth (their doom has been predicted long ago), impious creatures who pervert the grace of our God into immorality and disown our sole liege and Lord, Jesus Christ.

What harmony can there be between Christ and Beliar, or what business has a believer with an unbeliever?

If he refuses to listen to them, tell the church; and if he refuses to listen to the church, treat him as a pagan or a taxgatherer.

instead of one brother going to law with another — and before unbelievers too!

if we endure, then we shall reign with him, if we disown him, then he shall disown us,
