he who obeys his commands remains within him — and He remains within him. And this is how we may be sure he remains within us, by means of the Spirit he has given us.
I in them and thou in me — that they may be made perfectly one, so that the world may recognize that thou hast sent me and hast loved them as thou hast loved me.
we belong to God — he who knows God listens to us, he who does not belong to God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
