For he will render to everyone according to what he has done,

Watch yourselves; you must not lose what you have been working for, but gain a full reward.

So neither planter nor waterer counts, but God alone who makes the seed grow.

You may have thousands to superintend you in Christ, but you have not more than one father. It was I who in Christ Jesus became your father by means of the gospel.

Does a soldier provide his own supplies? Does a man plant a vineyard without eating its produce? Does a shepherd get no drink from the milk of the flock?

For everyone will have to bear his own load of responsibility.

To him he said, 'And you are set over five towns.'
