At thy rebuke, O Elohim of Yaakov, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

Then sang Moshe and the children of Yisrael this song unto YY , and spake, saying, I will sing unto YY , for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith YY Elohim.

It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

In that day, saith YY , I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Yhudah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness.

Thy shepherds slumber, O king of Ashur: thy nobles shall dwell in the dust: thy people is scattered upon the mountains, and no man gathereth them.

Behold, I am against thee, saith YY -TZvaot, and I will burn her chariots in the smoke, and the sword shall devour thy young lions: and I will cut off thy prey from the earth, and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the King, whose name is YY -TZvaot.

In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith YY .

Then the angel of YY went forth, and smote in the camp of the Ashurns a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O YY , at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

And the Syrians fled before Yisrael; and David slew the men of seven hundred chariots of the Syrians, and forty thousand horsemen, and smote Shobach the captain of their host, who died there.

So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's bolster; and they gat them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from YY was fallen upon them.

Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

And it came to pass that night, that the angel of YY went out, and smote in the camp of the Ashurns an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

And YY sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Ashur. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his Elohim, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.
