In my distress I called upon YY , and cried unto my Elohim: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

And she vowed a vow, and said, O YY -TZvaot, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto YY all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.

In my distress I called upon YY , and cried to my Elohim: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.

But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and YY shall forgive her.

But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and YY shall forgive her.

If a man vow a vow unto YY , or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

And let us arise, and go up to Beit-El; and I will make there an altar unto Elohim, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.
