Psalm 57:1

Be merciful unto me, O Elohim, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O Elohim! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

Be merciful unto me, O Elohim: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

Because thou hast made YY , which is my refuge, even the El Elyon, thy habitation;

But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Who is among you that feareth YY , that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of YY , and stay upon his Elohim.

I cried unto YY with my voice; with my voice unto YY did I make my supplication.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

They that trust in YY shall be as mount TZiyon, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.

Deliver me from mine enemies, O my Elohim: defend me from them that rise up against me.

Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine anger in their destruction.

And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.

David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.

O Yerushalayim, Yerushalayim, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

David also arose afterward, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My YY the king. And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed himself.

I prayed therefore unto YY , and said, O YY Elohim, destroy not thy people and thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed through thy greatness, which thou hast brought forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which YY said unto thee, Behold, I will deliver thine enemy into thine hand, that thou mayest do to him as it shall seem good unto thee. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privily.

And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against YY 's anointed, and be guiltless?

Unto thee, O Elohim, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
