Psalm 12:5

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith YY ; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

This poor man cried, and YY heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

He that oppresseth the poor reproacheth his Maker: but he that honoureth him hath mercy on the poor.

Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of YY -TZvaot.

Now will I rise, saith YY ; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.

But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.

Arise, O YY ; O Elohim, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.

And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto YY -TZvaot in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto YY because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.

If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.

To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

And they put away the strange elohim from among them, and served YY : and his soul was grieved for the misery of Yisrael.

And Pharaoh said, Who is YY , that I should obey his voice to let Yisrael go? I know not YY , neither will I let Yisrael go.

Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

They return, but not to the El Elyon: they are like a deceitful bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
