Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Yisrael, of the tribe of Binyamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as touching the Torah, a Parush;

Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Yisraelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Avraham? so am I.

I say then, Hath Elohim cast away his people? Elohim forbid! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Avraham, of the tribe of Binyamin.

And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zkharyah, after the name of his father.

And in those days, when the number of the talmidim was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Greek speakers against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called Y'shuw`a, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

And he said unto them, I am an Hebrew; and I fear YY , the Elohim of heaven, which hath made the sea and the dry land.

And when the Plishtim heard the noise of the shout, they said, What meaneth the noise of this great shout in the camp of the Hebrews? And they understood that the ark of YY was come into the camp.

For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

And there came one that had escaped, and told Abram the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram.

And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.

But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
