And Y'howshu`a the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moshe had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Yisrael hearkened unto him, and did as YY Commanded Moshe.
And he gave Y'howshu`a the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Yisrael into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.
And the Spirit of YY came upon him, and he judged Yisrael, and went out to war: and YY delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.
But charge Y'howshu`a, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.
Then the Spirit of YY came upon Yiftach, and he passed over Gilad, and Mnasheh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilad, and from Mizpeh of Gilad he passed over unto the children of Ammon.
Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Yishai the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and YY is with him.
And I will come down and talk with thee there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon thee, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with thee, that thou bear it not thyself alone.
And Moshe said unto Y'howshu`a, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of Elohim in mine hand.
YY thy Elohim, he will go over before thee, and he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: and Y'howshu`a, he shall go over before thee, as YY hath said.
And I Commanded Y'howshu`a at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that YY your Elohim hath done unto these two kings: so shall YY do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.
And YY said unto Moshe, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Y'howshu`a, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moshe and Y'howshu`a went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.
