And now thy two sons, Efrayim and Mnasheh, which were born unto thee in the land of Egypt before I came unto thee into Egypt, are mine; as Reuven and Shimon, they shall be mine.
Of the children of Mnasheh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Yosef, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren.
For the children of Yosef were two tribes, Mnasheh and Efrayim: therefore they gave no part unto the Lvim in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
