He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be YY over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

Yhudah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Y'shuw`a whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim: they shall prosper that love thee.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?

But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.

And Elohim said unto Bilam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.

And Balak's anger was kindled against Bilam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Bilam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.

For thus hath YY spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall YY -TZvaot come down to fight for mount TZiyon, and for the hill thereof.

And the remnant of Yaakov shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

And YY thy Elohim will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps: there was not the like made in any kingdom.

And there were six steps to the Throne, with a footstool of gold, which were fastened to the Throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and two lions standing by the stays:

And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordekhai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail against him, but shalt surely fall before him.
