Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.

And Bilam said unto Elohim, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying,

And Elohim said unto Bilam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.

Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be YY over thy brethren, and let thy mother's sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.

And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Yaakov, and come, defy Yisrael.

And Balak said unto Bilam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.

And Balak's anger was kindled against Bilam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Bilam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times.

But I would not hearken unto Bilam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.

And the Plishti said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Plishti cursed David by his elohim.
