And Moshe said unto YY , Wherefore hast thou afflicted thy servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in thy sight, that thou layest the burden of all this people upon me?

How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?

And Moshe returned unto YY , and said, YY , wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?

Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the Congregations..

Ye have said, It is vain to serve Elohim: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before YY -TZvaot?

And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified.

If thou, YY , shouldest mark iniquities, O YY , who shall stand?

I will say unto Elohim, Do not condemn me; shew me wherefore thou contendest with me.

And if thou deal thus with me, kill me, I pray thee, out of hand, if I have found favour in thy sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.

And Moshe cried unto YY , saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

Then Moshe heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of YY was kindled greatly; Moshe also was displeased.
