And the seed of Yisrael separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers.

Now it came to pass, when they had heard the Torah, that they separated from Yisrael all the mixed multitude.

Now therefore make confession unto YY Elohim of your fathers, and do his pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the kohanim and the Lvim, every one in his business;

And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Yisrael, and presenting my supplication before YY my Elohim for the holy mountain of my Elohim;

They have dealt treacherously against YY : for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.

Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:

For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Yaakov, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Plishtim, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;

Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Yisrael thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Yisrael, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned.

O YY Elohim of Yisrael, thou art righteous: for we remain yet escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before thee in our trespasses: for we cannot stand before thee because of this.

Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

And the children of Yisrael, which were come again out of captivity, and all such as had separated themselves unto them from the filthiness of the heathen of the land, to seek YY Elohim of Yisrael, did eat,

Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Yisrael, and the kohanim, and the Lvim, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Kenaanim, the Hittitim, the Perizzites, the Yvusis, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

And the rest of the people, the kohanim, the Lvim, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the Torah of Elohim, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against YY thy Elohim, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith YY .

We acknowledge, O YY , our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers: for we have sinned against thee.

They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in Elohim's Torah, which was given by Moshe the servant of Elohim, and to observe and do all The Commandments of YY our YY , and his judgments and his statutes;
