And said unto the king, Let the king live for ever: why should not my countenance be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchres, lieth waste, and the gates thereof are consumed with fire?

Her gates are sunk into the ground; he hath destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the Torah is no more; her prophets also find no vision from YY .

And Hizkiyah-yahu slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Yhudah and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim did him honour at his death. And Mnasheh his son reigned in his stead.

And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even in Yerushalayim: but they brought him not into the sepulchres of the kings of Yisrael: and Hizkiyah-yahu his son reigned in his stead.

Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Yerushalayim eight years, and departed without being desired. Howbeit they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchres of the kings.

They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.

And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Bavel, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Bavel, unto Yerushalayim:

And they burnt the house of Elohim, and brake down the wall of Yerushalayim, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Yerushalayim, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.

Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Bavel, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Bavel, into Yerushalayim,

For how can I endure to see the evil that shall come unto my people? or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?

For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

So the heathen shall fear the name of YY , and all the kings of the earth thy glory.
