Therefore I will make Shomron as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

And Bavel shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith YY , which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

And I will make Yerushalayim heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Yhudah desolate, without an inhabitant.

And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

Moreover, if he be gotten into a city, then shall all Yisrael bring ropes to that city, and we will draw it into the river, until there be not one small stone found there.

The burden of Dammesek. Behold, Dammesek is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.

Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Shomron: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hizkiyah-yahu, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Yisrael, that Shalmaneser king of Ashur came up against Shomron, and besieged it.

And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hizkiyah-yahu, that is in the ninth year of Hoshea king of Yisrael, Shomron was taken.

YY Elohim hath sworn by himself, saith YY the Elohim of hosts, I abhor the excellency of Yaakov, and hate his palaces: therefore will I deliver up the city with all that is therein.
