And it came to pass, when Y'shuw`a had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his teaching:

And they were astonished at his teaching: for his word was with power.

And they were astonished at his teaching: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

And when the Sabbath Day was come, he began to teach in the Synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Yosef's son?

And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?

And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.

And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.

And the scribes and chief kohanim heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his teaching.

And it came to pass, when Y'shuw`a had finished all these sayings, he said unto his talmidim,

And it came to pass, when Y'shuw`a had made an end of Commanding His twelve Talmidim, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.

Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore Elohim hath blessed thee for ever.

And it came to pass, that when Y'shuw`a had finished these sayings, he departed from Galil, and came into the coasts of Yhudah beyond Yarden;

And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.

Now when he had ended all his sayings in the audience of the people, he entered into Kfar-Nachum.
