But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of the sufferings of Moshiach; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Moshiach in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the Congregation:
But they mocked the messengers of Elohim, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of YY arose against his people, till there was no remedy.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to Elohim must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Was it not told my YY what I did when Izevel slew the prophets of YY , how I hid an hundred men of YY 's prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water?
Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy Torah behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations.
O Yerushalayim, Yerushalayim, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.

Now it came to pass, when Yirmeyah-yahu had made an end of speaking all that YY had Commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the kohanim and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
And the king of Yisrael said unto Yhoshafat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of YY : but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Yhoshafat said, Let not the king say so.
And Achav said to Eliyah-yahu, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of YY .
Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of Elohim, the king hath said, Come down.
Then Izevel sent a messenger unto Eliyah-yahu, saying, So let the elohim do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
Then said Yirmeyah-yahu, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so IriYAH took Yirmeyah-yahu, and brought him to the princes.
For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.
